SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS & AUDIENCE-BASED WORKSHOPS

Marshall and Bird like nothing more than bringing some hardtack and sea lore to a group of young readers. Speaking engagements are based on audience, so a lecture at a conference or museum will be different than what the authors do at school events. Both Bird and Marshall have decades in college classrooms and present a lively and exciting way to get kids interested in reading, history, or both. Contact Bird and Marshall if you’re interested!

We can customize the speech to the audience, and we can also tailor the content or intent to whatever the organizer may have in mind.

In this video we spoke at the Hereshoff Museum about our book Hold Fast and its historical relevance.
